a new face + updates.

i'm not entirely happy about the new title photo but it'll do for now. there are things i like and things i don't about this layout, and it is far from perfect with a million things that needs to be fixed, but i think this is up to par with how i feel now. i feel artsy and fartsy and friendly and un-hostile. i feel good. 

it's a week in of semester break and boy have i been watching a lot of movies and going out a lot and most of all, gaining weight like my body doesn't know how to gain weight! i haven't been drawing or writing much or even reading(current book i am engrossed with : Lev Grossman's The Magician King, which i suppose is a sequel of sorts because the cover says he's the author of the New York Times bestseller The Magicians, but who knows?), and i'm going to do more of those plus watching movies with less of eating and going out. this week has been a good week of catching up with a bunch of goofballs, forgetting about certain responsibilities for a while, and just relaxing my mind and body. 

(also, splurging. lots of splurging. on food. thank God. at least it's not on clothes, because i think my wardrobe's about to explode)

in the following 2 weeks to come (aka the weeks before Chinese New Year, which is a whole lot more of eating and not being very productive), i am planning to draw, write, go on mini photo-taking trips, read, watch movies, maybe spend a few nights with friends, spend less money, eat a whole lot lesser, and maybe even go look for a brand new squash racket. i might really wanna take up squash as a real sport and actually become better at it. 

okay just found out that a squash racket costs about RM150. WHY

well. everything is still in consideration! *gulp

hoping to do a lot of things during semester break but really i know these few weeks are going to fly by me and in no time at all i will be back in UM doing assignments and college project stuff into the night. God help me then. 

all and all, thanks for sticking around! as for new art, i really don't have much inspiration now so i don't wanna give you guys low quality random things that don't make sense. if anything, i would rather produce some high quality random things that don't make sense for y'all.
