befuzzled.

it's 2.30AM and i am sitting here, typing, wondering if i've gotten better at anything. i can never really tell because i don't actually ever know. if anything, i think i've gotten better at making small talk. i used to hate small talk so much, but now i realize the importance of asking a simple 'how have you been lately?' to someone. often times we're only one question away from someone's life story. and you never actually know if they needed someone to listen, ever. so you ask that silly little question.

there are so many things i look forward to as of now. there's Christmas, there's birthdays, there's Singapore next year, there's REVO Penang next week, there's New Year's--lots of stuff. i'm excited, happy and most grateful for all these opportunities and doors opened for me as well. am i finally going to make some money with my drawings? we'll see soon enough. even going to Singapore has been a dream come true for me. lots of people would tell me "why would you wanna go to Singapore" but i think it's been a lifelong dream since i went there once as a child, and i've always wanted to revisit the places i went to and really explore Singapore.

i wonder if i've gotten better at writing. probably not. look at my structure in this post and we would immediately understand why. heh. i'm just writing what i think. it goes on and on and on and on. i look forward to times when i can actually write casually again, of fictional people and places and events. literature assignments has been a drag, and i am currently struggling with Wordsworth--probably one of the most boring poets i have come across. maybe i do dislike the Romantic era. i do like the more morbid and depressing things. or irony. irony would be nice too. but oh, i do miss reading casually. of John Green and Neil Gaiman books. *sobs dramatically*

that reminds me. i should really get a copy of Stardust. a nice, hard-cover one. one i can keep to read to my children or others' children. it's a great fairy tale!

moving on.
have i gotten better at anything else at all? i'm uncertain.
certainly not in writing.

my mind's a little buzzed tonight, and i just wanted to write a little.
i apologize for the nonsensical structure and arrangement of this post.
