looking back, 2013 has been such a fruitful year. i didn't even know i did so many things this year, haha. usually by the end of the year i only think of the year as whatever that has been happening for the past 3 months. photos helped a lot. (:
this year has been a year of growth. i began serving at church and made friends not just in church but outside of church as well. so many first times, so many stepping out of my comfort zones! i think i evolved a little bit as a human being this year. became a little braver, i hope. (: and wiser too, i definitely hope so.
thank you, everyone who has been a part of my life this year (:
i would name names, but it would take foreverrrrr.
so thank you, and thank You as well, God, for making it such a fantastic year.
okay, get ready to embrace my 2013 photo spam under the cut!
my first surprise birthday party. shared it with a lovely friend/mentor/sister/one of the most interesting people i know, Justine.
wore Cheongsam after a very, very long time, and emceed an event for the very first time with this young fine man, Chin Yung (who was a lot more experienced in emceeing than me, duh).
had my times of fun with these three idiots. love them to biiiiiiiiiits.
my first karipap hairdo for KK5 choir! felt like i was in Glee. would do this all over again!
danced alongside amaaaaaaaaaazing dancers of Lightbulb at REVO Penang! my first time to a REVO tour (:
perhaps my favorite hairdo of the year. also, meet Joanne, she's kind of awesome.
went scuba-diving for the FIRST TIME IN MA LIFE even though i didn't know how to swim. clung to the scuba-diving instructor for my dear life.
wore sari for the very first time! Indian traditional clothing looks the beeeeeeeeeest.
witnessed a bunch of friends graduating in my first year and it wasn't the sort of thing that i was obliged to go. so thankful for these people in my life. (':
'
also, a picture of my boss How just because. thanks for all the memories at All Out!
a growing family at PJ8 Homes this year (: a bit sad to say that we'll be multiplying come February (when i'm gone!) but it's a happy thing as well because we'll be meeting new friends and expanding the family!
the best sort of family. Acts PJ Campus has been a huge part of my life this year. so glad to have known these people. they're people i talk to, listen to, laugh with and just share our lives together. the loveliest people.
Huddle. a sort of special girls-only club at church. glad to be able to learn and grow alongside these amazing people of different backgrounds and stories.
accidental favorite photoshoot of the year : that one time we hung out randomly at Humble Chef and then Justine and Alvin Dan dropped by. the best photos. (':
first gig at The Laundry Bar this year as well. hoping for more next year!
perhaps one of the highlights of 2013 for me : meeting Hsu Lynn in person and having her to draw me and my friend on her paper globes. (i still cannot faham how she can be so beautiful and talented. LIFE IS UNFAIR. also, she has a lead vocalist husband. WHY.)
Urbanscapes for the very first time. great experience! would love to go again next year if i have a car or if the venue would be more public transport-accessible.
Last Dinosaurs live at Urbanscapes. they were greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat.
also celebrated the graduation of these three wonderful ladies. all of them my course seniors!

had the privilege to finally get to know this girl a whole lot more. Connie is very involved and updated with the local Malay music scene. can't wait for her to show me a whole new world in Malaysia when i get back from Singapore!
midnight movie with the English Department: The Great Gatsby in 3D.
some of my favorite selcas from Comic Fiesta this year. cute Naruto and cute Edward!
first time to Thailand! was a great photo trip for me, but not so much of a travel trip. swore never to follow tours again.
oh snake boy, i miss you so.
my first time out on a vacation with just friends to Pulau Kapas! the sand was blinding white, the food there great, the company even better. a very well-spent holiday. perhaps my vacation of the year (:
hands down one of my most favorite photos of myself this year (:
and as usual, my ultimate 2014 new year's resolution:
take more pictures with people, not just of people.
